How to calculate the number of rows for a cutout when knitting raglan from above

1.  Determine the desired cut depth. This is done with a centimeter. We measure the depth of the notch down from the dimple on the neck between the collarbones (see).
 2. Measure  the total depth (OG) of the throat from 1/2 shoulder to the desired depth. In my example, OG = 17 cm.

3.  From the total depth of the neck, we subtract 1/2 of the shoulder width (in the example it is 6 cm):
17 cm - 6 cm = 11 cm
4.  The result obtained is multiplied by the density of knitting rows (for me it is 1 cm = 2 p): 11cm × 2p = 22 p.

ATTENTION : The number of rows must be even, since the rows are paired

IMPORTANT! If the raglan is MORE than 1 loop, then the width of the raglan should also be taken into account when calculating. Then the calculation formula will look like this:
OG - 1/2 shoulder width - raglan width (see example in)

ADDITION We knit the sprout only along the back and up to 1/2 the width of the sleeve, i.e. to half sleeves. For example, if there are 10 loops on the sleeve, then we knit 5 in a sprout.
