How to make a motif with flower for crochet blanket

So if your just joining us, this is the last part the flower square mandala project. In this section we intend to join the flower to the border. Before you begin, have all of your flower petal with leaves ready. Go ahead....

Diamond in the Rough Knit Blanket


MATERIALS
Bernat® Blanket™ (10.5 oz/300 g; 220 yds/201 m)
Light Teal (10734) 5 balls or 1010 yds/920 m
Size U.S. 11 (8 mm) circular knitting needle 36" [91.5 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge.
 MEASUREMENTS
Approx 51 x 62" [129.5 x 157.5 cm].
GAUGE
8 sts and 13 rows = 4" [10 cm] in
stocking st.
INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on 133 sts. Do not join.
Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
Knit 7 rows (garter st), noting first row is WS. Proceed in bellow : Note: See chart on page 2.
