Row 1: rep from A to B to end. Rep rows 1-4. Inc 1 st at each end every 12[12:10:10:10:8] row 5(2)11(4)0(12) times and every 10[10:8:8:8:6] row 6(10)2(11)16(6) times = 62[66:70:74:78:82] sts. Work increased sts in patt. Work until sleeve meas 45[46:47:48:48:49] cm.
Shape top
Cast off 4[4:4:5:5:6] sts at beg of next 2 rows. Cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 4 rows. Dec 1 st at each end of next and every foll alt row 10(11)12(13)14(15) times. Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Cast off rem sts.
Making Up
Flatten the pieces to the desired dimensions on an even surface, wrong side up. Wet with water spray, and allow to dry. Join both shoulder seams.
Hood
Rejoin yarn to 14 sts on a holder, pick up and knit 38 sts evenly from back neck edge, work 14 sts on a holder =66 sts. Work in garter st 1 cm. Increase evenly in back 4sts = 70 sts. Work 1cm. Rep increases = 74 sts. Work until hood meas 4 cm. Increase evenly in back 6 sts = 80 sts. Work 1cm. Rep increases = 86 sts. Work until hood meas 19 cm. Mark 4 sts in the middle with a stitch marker or spare yarn.
RS: work until you have 2 sts before marked 4 sts, K2tog, K4, sl1, K1, psso, work to end. Rep dec every alt row 11 times = 62 sts. Cast off sts. Join the crown seam using back stitch or matress stitch if preferred.
Sew pocket sides 6 cm from bottom to front.
Join side seams (leave the slits unjoined) and sleeve seams using back stitch or matress stitch if preferred. Set in sleeves.
Using 3 strands of yarn, twist about 140 cm long cord. Weave the cord into hood's edge. Start weaving about 6 cm from front neck opening.
