A versatile poncho–scarf with buttons and heavy, double-layered fringe that adds movement and character. Finished Garment. This design can be worn as a poncho or a scarf. It features a simple stockinette body, a ribbed/button band, and double, heavy fringe for a beautiful drape and flow. 
Skill Level : Beginner – Intermediate
 Materials
 • Yarn: Alize Lanagold (approximately 200 g for fringe +400g body yarn as needed)
Needles: 4.5 mm knitting needles 
 • Tapestry needle (for sewing and finishing)
 • Stitch markers or contrasting yarn (for marking)
 • Buttons (quantity as desired)
 • Scissors Gauge Gauge is not critical for this project. Size is adjusted by adding or subtracting rows. 10 cm*10cm = 18stitches *25rows 

Size 

• Standard instructions fit M – L size 
• This size is achieved with 300 rows
 • For a smaller size: work fewer rows
 • For a larger size: add more rows 




Abbreviations 

• CO: Cast on 
• st(s): stitch(es)
 • RS: Right side 
• WS: Wrong side 

Body

1.Cast on 90 stitches using 4.5 mm needles. 
2.Work in stockinette stitch:
 a. Row 1 (RS): Knit all stitches
 b. Row 2 (WS): Purl all stitches 
3. Repeat Rows 1–2 until you reach 330 rows total.
