 Materials :
Many multicolor yarn scraps
Crochet hook size 4 mm
30 cm (1/3 yrd) lining fabric
1 button.
Bottom of the bag :
With navy blue thread and crochet hook size 4 mm, ch 3. Turn work.
Row 1: ch1, 3 sc. 3 st.
Row 2 : turn work. Ch1, 2 sc in the first sc from former row, 1 sc, 2 sc in the last sc from former
row. 5 st.
Row 3 : turn work. Ch1, 2 sc in the first sc from former row, 3 sc, 2 sc in the last sc from former row. 7 st.
Row 4 : turn work. Ch1, 2 sc in the first sc from former row, 5 sc, 2 sc in the last sc from former
row. 9 st.
Row 5 : turn work. Ch1, 2 sc in the first sc from former row, 7 sc, 2 sc in the last sc from former
row. 11 st.
Rows 6 - 38 : turn work, ch 1, 11 sc.
Row 39 : turn work. Ch1, work a single crochet decrease in first 2 sc from former row, 7 sc, work a
single crochet decrease in last 2 sc from former row. 9 st.
Row 40 : turn work. Ch1, work a single crochet decrease in first 2 sc from former row, 5 sc, work a
single crochet decrease in last 2 sc from former row. 7 st.
Row 41 : turn work. Ch1, work a single crochet decrease in first 2 sc from former row, 3 sc, work a
single crochet decrease in last 2 sc from former row. 5 st.
Row 42 : turn work. Ch1, work a single crochet decrease in first 2 sc from former row, 1 sc, work a
single crochet decrease in last 2 sc from former row. 3 st.
Side of the bag :
Without cutting blue navy yarn, ch1, work 1000 sc around the bottom of the bag (3 sc along the
short sides and 47 along the long sides of the bottom).
Ch 1, work 100 sc, inserting hook in the back part of the sc of the former row. Break yarn.
Work the jacquard chart in round, begining each round with ch1, ending with 1 sl st. Fasten off.
Finitions :
Weave in loose ends.
Shoulder strap :
Ch260. Turn work. Work 5 rows of 260 sc, begining each row with ch 1. Change color yarn as often
as possible. Weave in loose ends.
Fold the rectangle along the long sides, and work 260 sc through the boths layers of the long
sides. Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.
Sew the shouler strap on both sides of the bag.
Insert hook in the center of one side of the top of
the bag. Ch25, with one color yarn. Change yarn,
ch1, and work 25 sc. Fasten off and weave in
loose ends.
Sew a button on the opposite side of the bag.
Lining of the bag
Using a fabric, garnish the interior of the bag.
Sew the lining along the top of the bag.
