For this motif start with the magic ring 6dc (double crochet)
1 row - 12sc(single crochet )
2 row - 3chain(for the upright),*2ch -1dc* for the first space .....repeat this 12 times in total.

3 row - 3sc in each opening (36 sc in total)
4 row - work in each sc (of the previous series) *3dc - 4chain* ....repeat this12 times in total.
5 row - *5sc ,3picot* ... repeat this et the end of row.
