Blodyn is the word flower in Welsh. There are a few options for the flower. . The pattern is written for colour changes as in the pink flower below.

I used a 5mm hook and 8 ply cotton yarn to make 6" blocks. I do tend to crochet tighter than most though, so use what you normally would with your yarn of choice.
Instructions
Using flower centre colour, begin with 4 ch, joining first ch to the last with a ss to form a loop, or a use a magic circle.

Round 4 - Attach leaf colour to the middle of any 3 ch sp, ch 1, 2 dc in same 3 ch sp, *skip 1 st, 3 dc in 3 ch sp*, repeat from * to * 10 times, skip 1 st, dc in same sp as first sts, join with ss to first dc. {36 sts}
