 Tic Tac Toe Scarf
The Tic Tac Toe Scarf is very pretty. The Tic Tac Toe stitch looks a little complicate to knit, but is not, just follow this free pattern and you will see how fast you will get it and you will have your scarf ready for this winter, you can change the colors for your scarf I think gray and yellow are very beautiful contrast, but all depend if the scarf will be for women, men, girl or boy.

 Materials:
Knitting needles size 8
2 yarns size 4: Yellow and Gray
Abbreviations:
DYO: Double Yarn Over (Wrap yarn twice)
Note: Carry the yarn up as you see in the below pictures
Start with Yellow yarn color  Cast On  26 stitches (this number has to be a multiple of 5 plus 1)
1st. Row (Wrong Side) (Yellow) Purl across row
2nd. Row (Right Side) (Yellow) Knit across row
3rd. Row (Wrong Side) (Yellow)
a. Purl 1) (Yellow) Knit across row

4th. Row (Right Side) (Gray)
 a. Knit 1, with yarn at the back Slip 1, drop the DYO (next two wraps), Knit 2, with yarn at the back Slip 1, and drop the DYO.a.
b. In the next stitch you are going to create 7 gray color stitches to start to create a bobble by: Knit 1 by the back, but do not take out the old stitch, sent the right needle to the back of the left needle DYO, bring the right needle to the front Knit 1 by the back again in the same old stitch, still do not take out the old stitch sent the right needle to the back of the left needle DYO, bring the right needle to the front leaving the yarn at the back Knit 1 by the back, now you can take out the old stitch,
c. with yarn at the back Slip 1, drop the DYO, Knit 2, Slip 1, drop the DYO
d. Repeat only letters “b” and “c” across row, and Knit the last stitch
Note: Carry the yarn up as you see in the below pictures
5th. Row          (Wrong Side) (Gray)
a. Purl 1, Slip 1, Purl 2 , Slip 1
b. Send working yarn to the back, Knit 5 (the DYO counts for one, you knit one wrap and let go the next wrap), bring the yarn to the front, Slip 1, purl 2, Slip 1; repeat this letter across row and Purl the last stitch.
6th. Row      (Right Side) (Gray)
a. Knit 1, Slip 1, Knit 2, Slip 1
b. Bring yarn to the front, Purl 5, send yarn to the back Slip 1, Knit 2, Slip 1; repeat this letter across row and Knit the last stitch
 7th. Row         (Wrong Side) (Gray)
a. Purl 1, Slip 1, Purl 2, Slip 1
b. With working yarn at the back, Knit 2 Together, Knit 3 Together, now from the right needle pass the second stitch over the first stitch and drop it off the needles (This will be the end of the bubble), bring yarn to the front, Slip 1, Purl 2, Slip 1; repeat this letter across row and Purl the last stitch
8th. Row        (Right Side) (Yellow)
a. Knit 1
b. Drop the next long stitch off the needle leave it in front of the project, send yarn to the back, slip 2, Drop the next long stitch off the needle leave it in front of the project,
c. With your left needle pick up the first dropped long stitch, return the 2 slipped stitches from the right needle to the left needle,
d. now with your right needle pick up the second dropped long stitch and return it to your left needle, then knit 5 (1 of the long stitches, 2 returned slipped stitches, 1 of the long stitches and 1 more)
e. Repeat letters “b”, “c” and “d” across row.
