Material 
beads regular size of about 2.5 g (in this manual pink and gray Japanese TOHO beads vel. 11)
Wooden bead 14 mm (e-shop, we have a large diameter and lots of plastic beads )

Fig. 2-- 1st row : Prepare the beginning of bullets - five pieces of gray seed beads , put on one end of the thread and tie them tightly. At the other end, put on the needle. Ready stitched vent ball. Wooden ball increases its diameter by about 4 mm (depending on the size of seed beads). source
