Coming at you with another adorable owl yarn craft today! These cut little Pom Pom Owls are easier to make than you think! Let me walk you through the tutorial.
– Worsted weight yarn in white and a main color (like purple or blue)
– Two small buttons
– A bit of felt for the wings, beak, and feet
– Hot glue gun
– Sharp scissors
Take your white yarn and wrap it around one side of pom maker about 10 times in two spots like in the picture below.
Take main color and wrap it around and over the white sections until you can’t wrap it any more.
Take main color yarn and wrap it around other side of pom maker.
Cut down middle of each side of pom maker.
It should look like this!
Knot a strand of yarn down the center as TIGHTLY as possible to secure your pom.
When you take your yarn pom off the pom maker it will look something like this. Time to trim!
Trim your pom leaving longer strands in the top corners for the ears.
Make a second solid color pom and heat up your hot glue gun.
Glue the head and body together and then glue on eyes, beak, wings and feet.
