Here’s the pattern – this makes one 8" medallion:
Crochet Hook – J (adjust based on the yarn you are using)

Begin by doing chaining 4. Form a loop by connecting to first chain with a slip stitch. (You can also do a magic ring here if that’s what you prefer.
Round 1: Chain 3 – counts as first double crochet. Double crochet 11 more into loop formed from chains. Connect to chain 3 with a slip stitch. 12 double crochet formed.

Round 2: Chain 3. Double crochet in same stitch at bottom of chain 3. Crochet 2 double crochets in each stitch around circle for a total of 24 double crochets. Connect with a slip stitch.

Round 3. Chain 9. Skip 3 double crochets and slip stitch in 4th double crochet. Repeat around circle to create 6, “chain 9” loops. Connect last loop in starting stitch with a slip stitch.
Round 4: Working across chain 9 loop, slip stitch in each of the first 4 chains. Single crochet around the chain 5 stitch. (at the top point of the chain 9 loop). Chain 11. Single crochet in the center of the next chain 9 loop. Repeat for 5 more “chain 11” loops and slip stitch in first single crochet.

Round 5: In chain 11 loop, crochet 2 single crochets, 2 half double crochets, 2 double crochets, 1 half triple crochet, 1 triple crochet, 1 half triple crochet, 2 double crochets, 2 half double crochets and 2 single crochets. Skip to next chain 11 loop and repeat. Repeat for each chain 11 loop and connect to starting single crochet with slip stitch.
Round 6: Chain 3. Skip 1 stitch and single crochet in next stitch. Repeat across arch to create 7, chain 3 loops. On last chain 3 of arch, slip stitch to the last stitch of the arch. Slip stitch to the first stitch of the next arch and chain 3. Repeat around arches.

Round 7: Single crochet in first chain 3 loop. In next chain 3 loop, single crochet, double crochet, single crochet. Slip stitch in next stitch. Repeat across next 4 chain 3 spaces. Single crochet in the last chain 3 space of arch. Repeat across the other arches. Finish off.
